Rhinoplasty: Rhinoplasty, often known as a nose job, is the process of surgically reshaping the nose to achieve the perfect shape. It involves entering the nasal cavity through an incision within the nasal passages, and then remodeling the cartilage and bone to reshape the tip, bridge or nostrils. Sinclair Gore is a proponent of ‘preservation rhinoplasty’, which aims to produce a smooth, natural nose appearance by preserving key components of the nasal bridge bone and cartilages.
Septal surgery: Septal surgery includes procedures designed to treat a deviated septum, which is when the cartilage and bone that divides the nasal passages is misaligned. While this is usually carried out to alleviate breathing problems, such as sleep apnea, it can also be used for cosmetic purposes to create a straighter nose that achieves your desired look.
Nasal Reconstruction: Nasal reconstruction has overlaps with rhinoplasty surgery, but it is designed for those who are missing skin, lining tissue or cartilage due to an accident, cancer or excessive drug ingestion through the nose. While these techniques overlap with cosmetic procedures, nasal reconstruction often requires more time and sometimes multiple stages to reshape the nose and restore it to a complete nose. This procedure can sometimes be funded by the NHS, as it is medically necessary, but patients wishing for a shorter wait and a choice of surgeon can choose to pay for it privately.
Other Procedures: Nose reshaping is often carried out alongside other procedures, such as eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), a facelift / necklift (rhytidectomy or platysmaplasty) and chin implants (mentoplasty and genioplasty). How Do You Know If Your Nose Is Suitable For Rhinoplasty?

Where Will The Scars From Rhinoplasty Be Located?
The position of your rhinoplasty scars will depend on the type of procedure you choose. Rhinoplasty comes in several forms, including open rhinoplasty, where the scars are located within the nostrils and across the skin bridge (the columella) between your nostrils, or closed rhinoplasty, where the scars are located entirely inside the nose.
