This 38 year-old professional lady consulted me regarding her limited breast volume after recommendation from one of her close friends who had had surgery under my care. She wished to have a much improved, but still natural-appearing, breast volume and the use of 295cc short-height anatomically-shaped (teardrop-shaped) high-projection implants placed in a subfascial (above the pectoral muscle) plane provided an excellent outcome in her case. The bikini tan lines say it all!

This 19 year-lady consulted me alongside with mother regarding potential breast reduction surgery. She disliked the excessively heavy and ungainly nature of her breasts and found it difficult in the setting of her sporting activities. We had extensive discussion about the choice of scar pattern and the patient elected for a standard Wise pattern (anchor-type) scar but added an upper pole reconstruction to fill out her upper breasts in front of her pectoral muscles. This gave an immediate transformation of her breasts and she is now able to her to go on and pursue her sport unencumbered and without discomfort.

This 46 year-old lady disliked the loss of breast volume she experienced after pregnancy and breast augmentation using short-height anatomically-shaped (teardrop-shaped) implants were used to recreate a natural appearing upper breast takeoff whilst maintaining a fullness in the lower breast with good breast projection, giving an excellent functional and aesthetic outcome in this case.

As a 28 year-old young woman who worked in the military, this lady found her lack of breast volume troublesome. Some pre-existing breast asymmetry was highlighted and following augmentation with symmetrical implants, some minor breast asymmetry persists. Such things are important to discuss as part of any consultation as a starting point will generally largely define the finish point. 375cc short-height high-projection anatomically-shaped implants were used in a subfascial (above the pectoral muscle) plane to give a more natural upper breast appearance than could reliably be achieved with round implants.

This 40 year-old lady was referred to me following a previous consultation elsewhere. She sought improvement in her breast volume and shape following completing her family. She had previously been advised that augmentation would only be possible by combining this with a mastopexy breast lift, but the patient did not wish to have scars on the front of the breast if at all possible. The use of specialist implants with a lower point of maximum projection than normal anatomically-shaped implants created a good breast shape without the need for a mastopexy. As an enthusiastic diver, she was back undertaking scuba-diving within a short period of her surgical recovery and the use of high-friction coated implants meant that the risk of them displacing or rotating was minimised and has not been problematic since.

This 65 year-old lady from some distance away consulted me regarding mastopexy surgery. She was happy with her breast volume in a bra but particularly disliked the way her breasts dropped and the shape changed when she took her bra off. This is a good indication for comprehensive mastopexy reconstructive surgery where not only is the skin envelope of the breast reduced, but the internal dimensions and structure of the breast volume are rearranged to be more youthful. This results in more form-stable and youthful breasts that are not so bra-dependent and which have commensurate positive benefits in terms of well-being, clothing choices and swimwear selection.

This 39 year-old lady came back to discuss potential breast augmentation nearly 2 years after previous post-pregnancy abdominal wall reconstruction abdominoplasty. She wished for a natural appearing outcome and as such 350cc high-projection anatomically shaped (teardrop-shaped)implants were placed in a partially sub-muscular plane. This produced an immediate correction of her breast volume loss, resulting in a pleasing improvement in her body confidence and well-being.
