Patient reported outcome measures are an important part of contemporary surgery and reflect the subjective experience of patients undergoing surgery. This data is collected on all my patients before surgery and within a year following their surgery. Beyond objective or photographic criteria, this information reflects the personal experience of patients who have undergone surgery and their feelings about various aspects of their outcome.
As you can see all these classes of operation show marked improvements in quality of life after surgery. In many cases the questionnaires reflect functional and symptomatic outcomes as well as a perception of aesthetics and beauty.
